Private Label Lacquerware

For companies wishing to sell their own lacquerware, Qua also supplies bespoke lacquerware for your store.

Pathlight School worked with us to create a private label lacquer series featuring a breathtaking artwork by Stephan Wiltshire, a British architectural artist and autistic savant. The artwork is a detailed landscape of the Singapore Skyline, drawn from memory after Stephan saw saw an aerial view of the it from a helicopter. Over a span of 5 days, he put the finishing touches on the 4m by 1m canvas at the main atrium of Paragon mall, with Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong in the audience. The finished panorama is now displayed at the Urban Redevelopment Authority Singapore City Gallery and has been formally presented to President Tony Tan Keng Yam, as a gift to Singapore for the nation's 50th birthday. To view more of Stephen Wiltshire's astounding work, view his website here.

With the astounding artwork, we created merchandise that everyone could enjoy, including lacquer and paper products such as stationery boxes, trays, coasters, letter holders, and notebooks. The merchandise was sold in Pathlight School's 'The Art Faculty' shop.
