Malay - Inspired by the "Wayang Kulit" (shadow puppet play) and Batik Painting. Portraying symbolic patterns, vivid colours, and shadow puppet figures.
Indian - Represented by the ornamental design of "Rangoli" (traditional Indian folk art created on the floor using coloured rice, sand and flower petals) and henna painting (intricate hand tattoo adored by Indian women for festive occasions)
Chinese - Based on the Peony flower that embodies romance and prosperity. It has always be regarded as an omen of good fortune and a happy marriage.
Eurasion - Originated from an integration of European traders and local populations that resulted in culture particular to their mixed heritage. The designs is indicative of tiles Eurasian families would decorate their homes (mix of European and Asian influences).
